Levy Media Website

Levy Media, an independent video production company, hired me to refresh their identity and website.

Owner, Jason Levy, recently relocated to Kansas City, MO and felt it was a good time to start fresh and new. After we discussed the details and determined the scope of the project I started with the logo.

I fired up Adobe Illustrator and provided Jason with a couple different concepts. Ultimately we ended up with this:

Levy Media's New Logo

The logo is simple, consisting of a camera with two reels, encapsulating an EQ which creates a hidden “LM”. The camera then projects to the title, “Levy Media, Video Production Services”.

Once the logo was settled we then moved on to the new web design. After researching some competitors I quickly decided what route I wanted to take. I sketched out the layout, making sure I incorporated two key elements: samples of work and a contact form.

I then started working out details of the color scheme and felt the use of darker colors would give it a slightly edgier look while maintaining a polished feel.

In the end, I provided a website that was user friendly and accessible. Levy Media was extremely pleased with the results as they now had a modern, professional identity and website.
